Every three years, districts are audited by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction against United States Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) standards for operating a food services program.
In January, OSPI completed our 2019 audit. The audit identified that our district was not charging enough for adult meals. We were charging $3.75 per meal and were non-compliant; not charging enough to ensure that there was no subsidy by the district or U.S.D.A. of the adult meals.
