The Olympia School District Education Foundation (OSDEF) invites all OSD staff to attend this year’s Principal’s Emergency Fund (PEF) Breakfast, which will be live-streamed on Thursday, September 16. Watch it “live” at 7:30 a.m. or at a time more convenient for you. The program will run less than 30 minutes.
“We want to make sure everyone in the OSD community is aware of this critical resource that every principal has to assist students and families who have urgent basic needs – whether that’s a warm jacket, shoes that fit, Internet access or assistance with rent,” said OSDEF Executive Director Katy Johansson.
The breakfast raises money for the PEF, which provides every OSD principal the resources to help meet urgent basic needs of low-income students and their families.
RSVP here to ensure you receive the link to the live-stream.
While the event is not in person this year, OSDEF encourages small “watch parties” with coworkers. The Foundation will deliver complimentary breakfast baskets that feed eight people and contain goodies donated by Left Bank Pastry, Ralph’s Thriftway and Bayview Thriftway, as well as orange juice and coffee from Olympia Coffee. Sign up here to order breakfast baskets by Monday, September 13.
