National School Lunch Week continues through Friday, October 14

It’s officially National School Lunch Week, so let’s celebrate our amazing Child Nutrition Services staff spread across our district! Not only do they help keep our kiddos happy and healthy, but they have done it with smiles and caring during a global pandemic.

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created NSLW in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom.

A big thanks to all our Child Nutrition Services staff out there, you are greatly appreciated!
